TDT in the Mac: EyeTV

For a pair of days, I have a TDT sintonizadora for the Mac. Specifically it is the Pinnacle DVB-T Stick that although there are no typical ones of Elgato, the sintonizadoras of TDT for excellent Mac. But nevertheless, this one Pinnacle is compatible with Mac, although here at what really it is necessary to look, is the compatibility with EyeTV.

Although also we have to say, that an alternative exists to EyeTV for Mac, and is The Tube. Application that undoubtedly also is very good, but that esthetically, I like more EyeTV and is here my election.

The truth, the fact is that the use of the EyeTV has no mystery great, since the initial configurador, already prepares us so that everything works correctly.

In this one configuration, what the application asks us there are the following things: area of use, hardware that we are using, TDT or analogical and tuning way. As soon as it finishes the tuning that does this one initial configuration, we will be able to begin watching TV in our Mac.

Everything has it to hand, with tansolo to drag a channel towards another position we modify his position in the list, in the part of the left we have access to the programming (he needs subscription with an additional service), to the recordings and to the list of programmings.

Problems of sign

As for the quality of the reproduction of the TV it is basically the one that we receive across the mini - antenita (which problems I will comment now) or the antenna of house.

The mini-antenna provided with the sintonizadora, it is thought to be used in exterior or on contrary, in interior, but quite near of an open window and that has free route. It is a big fiasco, but it is like that, unfortunately these antennas do not give for any more. They are too small.

I cannot allow to pass for high that this the same proved in a PC, it would not give the same results. It is much costlier to watch TV across these antennas.

Conclusion

Perfect to watch TV while we realize what more we like in the computer.
